Reality TV!

I've been watching like 6 episodes of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and "Kourtney and Kim Take New York" and honestly.. I'M HOOKED!

After an episode ends, I'll be like "Grabeeeee", "What happened to Rob???", "Kim really has a big butt", "Kim's so pretty!" and occasionally I would punch my chest because of all the drama and stress of the episode.


Then my cousin asks me: "What makes them so interesting noh?"
Me: "I dunno."


Exactly! What makes them so interesting to watch? This question goes for other Reality TV shows like Jershey Shore and the like. Yes, the characters are really funny, goodloooking and crazy but it's not like they have much talent or skill. If ever they have, the show doesn't focus on that.

Social Life Survival Tip 101!

Today while hanging out in the mall, I bumped into an old acquaintance. We exchanged "Hi"s and "Hello"s. Then suddenly, he introduced to me a little kid that he was pushing on a stroller.

Friend: "This is Mark. Say hi, Mark." (*name was changed to protect identity)

Me: "He's so cute! Is he your little brother?"

Friend: "Dude! He's my kid!"

and then.. awkward silence... :|

For someone who is a self-proclaimed expert observer, I really didn't see the clues! Like um.. why would a girl his age and a guy his age who look nothing like each other do with a kid on a stroller? Hahaha!


Another experience would be one of my sisters was thought to be my brother.. Hmm.. This was quite acceptable I guess 'cause she kinda looked like this:

But one time my dad was thought to be my mother's SON..

How do you even react to something like that??? Am I blind or is that person just on crack? Let's just say good thing I wasn't there when this happened!


This happens to a lot of people so Social Life Survival Tip: When your friend introduces someone to you, just ask "How are you two related?" or just shut up and smile! :)


P.S. I wouldn't mind if somebody asks me if Katie Holmes is my sister. :p

Study Lullaby

Don't you ever notice that when you're doing something aside from studying, you're as alive as ever but when you start opening your book and reading it, next thing you know, you get super sleepy.. or possibly fall asleep for like 2 hours! (Which is usually what happens to me :s)

Children's day? None? Really?

Don't you notice that there's a day for everyone! Father's day, Mother's day, Grandparent's day, but never Daughter's day, Son's day or even CHILDREN'S DAY? :(


Hmmm.. Maybe we could look it as everyday is Children's day...

Who's behind you?

So I wash my face at night and everytime I have my eyes closed, I have the scariest feeling that someone might appear behind me when I look into the mirror and possibly hurt me. Someone like this:  

Is it all in my head? Am I just weird? Hmm.. It turns out no, I'm not. There's actually a Facebook page devoted to this fear:

Haha! And I thought I was the only one feeling like this!

Solution? 

I wash each side of my face separately to make sure that I keep on the look out if ever somebody appears or creeps behind me. Here's an illustration of how I wash my face:
